We are a group of women of all ages who meet up once a month from 7PM to 9PM in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.  The group's first meeting was in June 2005.  We have all been affected in some way by sexual abuse, usually in childhood, either directly or non-directly as for some of us it was
our children who were the victims.

The group is strictly confidential and non judgemental.  Our aim is to listen and talk through problems, meet other women who have been through similar experiences and really understand, support each other and make new friends. We chat about everyday things and enjoy each other’s company, along with of course tea, coffee and biscuits.

For some of us it is the first time we have been able to talk about what happened and how it has affected our lives, however meetings are often light hearted and not depressing.  It is good to talk.

Although at times meetings can be sad, members find they are a good experience, they help you understand yourself and you know you are not alone in how you feel. We are however, all survivors of abuse and are not trained in any way and cannot offer any professional help; anyone that requires this type of support should contact their own doctor.

If you live out of the area and you would like any advice on how to set up your own group, please write to the address below.

If you would like any more information about our group please don’t hesitate to call us on

07788196138

or write to us at PO Box 1138, King’s Lynn PE30 4WX.

The telephone is not always manned, as we are all volunteers, however if you leave your name, first name is enough, and number and short message,
we will call you back.

Now you have made the first step please get in touch with us, you are not alone, too many women and children suffer in silence.

Hope to hear from you soon.

With very best wishes.

THE DEVIL WALKED BESIDE ME
WHEN I WAS JUST A CHILD
HE BRIBED ME AND HE COAXED ME
TO LURE ME TO HIS SIDE
HE GAVE ME SWEETS AND LOTS OF TREATS
HE SAID I SHOULD’NT TELL
ABOUT THE THINGS HE DONE TO ME
OR I WOULD GO TO HELL
THE EVIL THAT’S STILL LURKING
AT THE FAR SIDE OF MY MIND
ARE THE SCARS OF CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
LONG SINCE LEFT BEHIND
